The harvest is on and produce farmers are bringing in all kinds of incredible veggies; you’ll want to grab this stuff while you can, it’s only here while the warm weather lasts!

Riverview Berry Farm (from West Bend) is a new IFC producer with a 20-acre blackberry farm they started in 2010. Their mission is to provide great tasting, nutritious, locally-grown berries. Welcome aboard!

Heritage Hill Farm (from Ames) listed gorgeous flower bouquets (order one for your table and one for a friend!) and a wide selection of fresh produce (including 20 lb boxes of Roma tomatoes for canning). Jessica noted: “We are so excited to be a producer for the COOP. My mother in law, visiting from Arizona, came along when we dropped off last cycle; she was impressed and slightly jealous she didn’t have something like ours in AZ!”

Fieldstone Farms (from Clemons) added ‘Chunk Honey’ which is a jar of raw honey that includes the honeycomb.

Global Greens: Ndabasaniye, Jaqueline (farming in Des Moines, originally from Tanzania + Congo!) listed amazing red-purple ‘Dragon’ carrots.

Other Global Greens farmers with new products include: Bastola, Narad (Roma tomatoes, okra, shallots); Charles, Bizimana (green beans, red tomatoes); Alex, Congera (carrots).

Holdeman Poultry (from Riceville) has their amazing and affordable bonesless, skinless capon breasts again.

Ebersole Cattle Co. (from Kellerton) has added products to their inventories–don’t miss the sirloin jerky and hamburger patties.

Huber Family Farm (from Maxwell) is back for the season with their incredible root vegetables, starting with three varieties of potatoes: ‘Charlotte’, ‘Carola’, and ‘Reba’.

Sunrise (from Woodward) is offering their famous ‘NuMex Anaheim Chiles’ , ideal for roasting or stuffing with their mild heat.

Olson Family Farm (from Madrid) is offering sweet corn. Sweet corn season is winding down, so don’t miss out!

Central Iowa Organic Fertilizer (from Indianola) added a new product called Garden Topper, which are 50 lb bags of worm castings ideal for applying to your gardens after harvesting your crops. Stock up and apply as areas become open!

Timber Ridge Cattle Co. (from Osceola) has flaxfed cattle ribeye and NY strip steaks ready for your end of summer BBQ.

New Family Farm (from Elkhart) added watermelon, cantaloupe, muskmelon, and two kinds of hot peppers.

Yoke S Ranch (from Russell) has their rump roast on sale for this cycle for $5.75/lb.

Good Shepherd Grass Farm (from Monroe) added dried beef and flank steak to go along with their wide selection of beef products.

Lee’s Greens (from Nevada) added a mix of red and white potatoes and green tomatoes to go along with their potted herbs, eggplant, and green bell peppers.
