People are searching for healthier food products and the aronia berry, a purple berry similar in size to a blueberry, is considered to be three times healthier than a blueberry. Various internet sites list the aronia berry as having from 5 to 10 times the amount of antioxidants as compared with other red berries. Research indicates that the berry can greatly reduce the risk of cancer and heart disease. The berry is popular in Europe, and the berries' popularity is expected to skyrocket in the U.S. because of the berries' attributes. Aronia berries can be used to make wine, jams and jellies. The berries are good in baked goods, yogurt, sorbet, and other foods, just like a blueberry. We have lots of recipes you can try.

1/4's, 1/2's, and whole Beef
Order number of 1/4 beefs.
Beef is from Madsen Stock Farm's Registered American LowLine black angus beef, born and raised on our pastures without the use of hormones or antibiotics. The cattle graze Certified Organic crop ground in the fall and winter. They are also fed hay in the winter which we have grown, cut, and baled without the use of pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers. They are finished on NON-GMO corn, organic oats, and a protein/vitamin/mineral supplement. Their smaller carcass size is more suited to modern American families, your freezers, your healthier eating habits, and your pocketbooks. The average hanging carcass weight size for 1/4 beef is about 120 to 165 pounds and the price will be about $ 2.60 per pound hanging carcass weight. You will also pay for your own individual cutting instruction charges. (Average cutting instruction charges for a 1/4 beef are about $ 100.00 with roasts, steaks and ground beef.) The beef will go to the locker in January and February. The meat will be ready and delivered about 1 month later. The $.01 deposit is only to let us know you are interested in getting a quarter (or more) beef. When you place an order, we will call you and give you more information, the exact date the animal goes to the locker, and the price per pound on the hanging carcass weight.
