Practices (our standards for raising or making our products)
We fish from shore using the set-net method. Each fish is hand picked from the gill net, bled, put in slush ice, and shipped daily (within 6 hrs.) to our processor for packaging and flash freezing.
We are committed to providing you with the highest quality and tastiest frozen and smoked salmon available. Wild Alaskan salmon is rated by the Monteray Bay Aquarium's Seafood Watch as 'Best Choice'. Comparably, Atlantic (farmed) salmon is rated as "Avoid".

Sockeye Whole Fillet
Order number of fillets.
The second most abundant Alaska Salmon species is Sockeye. The distinct, deep red flesh retains its color throughout cooking, and brings dramatic impact to any presentation. The average weight of our fillets is between 1 and 2 lbs. These 2015 Sockeye were caught by ourselves and our neighbors' set netting crews in the Egegik district of Bristol Bay Alaska. This year's catch has been trimmed closely with the belly fat and pin bones removed.
You will be billed for the exact PROCESSED weight (between 1 and 2 Lbs - Producer will need to enter weight.)
