This is the first grow season for Dogpatch Urban Gardens and we are excited to serve the Des Moines Metro with sustainable and naturally grown produce. DUG is a market garden and our produce is grown using all natural methods; meaning we do not use synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides. DUG also places emphasis on sustainability by using grow methods that help build & improve the soil while limiting our dependency on fossil fuels.
