We are a pasture based farm raising heritage meats that include purebred Dexter cattle, Hereford pork, and free range poultry. Our desire is to create a farm that thrives in the intricacies of God's beautiful creation and that is a sustainable part of our local community. We not only want to provide healthy, great tasting food to our customers, but hope to get to know you as you come visit our farm. * To learn more about our farm and to follow our journey from our blogs and facebook page, visit www.crookedgapfarm.com. Browse through our Products for Sale Practices (our standards for raising or making our products) Our cattle are not given any grains. They enjoy the forages our pasture provides and are moved daily, up to 3 times, to fresh grass. They are antibiotic and hormone free. Our pigs live outside year around and reside in our pasture edged woods spring through fall. Their custom rations contain no animal by-products, and they are antibiotic and hormone free. Additional Information At Crooked Gap Farm, we have a herd of Heritage Dexter Cattle and heritage breed pigs. In order to keep "real" meat available and have animals that are hardy enough to survive naturally without antibiotics or hormones, it is important to keep the genetic pool of these great tasting heritage breeds around.
Locker Information: Highlights this Month Because of low inventory, we do not currently have any meat listed on the IFC |
