Rhubarb, asparagus, flowers, strawberries, raspberries, oriental vegetables, etc.|
Our farm has everything from dry sandy soil to wet black gumbo. When I was growing up we were simply raising cattle on a small scale and putting up hay loose, the old-fashioned way. When I moved back to the farm we tried fruits and vegetables, and found that we can grow almost anything as long as we can find the right place to plant it.

Practices (our standards for raising or making our products)
We were fans of Rodale Press's Organic Gardening magazine back in the early days. We are not certified organic, but generally do not use chemicals or non-natural products. We have found that our small, diverse farm usually has to treat fewer problems than a large monoculture operation.
Highlights this Month
Rhubarb is our best product in April and May. There is enough rain to make the spears big and sweet, tasty even when raw.
