About Us In 1995 I started learning cake decorating on my own, watching videos, lots of practice and a willing family to eat the many creations both good and bad. Soon friends and word of mouth had increased the amount I was baking and spurred the creation of Chris's Custom Bakery, LLC. All of our items are made from scratch with no fillers or preservatives, so they have great flavor. For 10 years I have been selling customized cakes and cookies along with brownies, quick breads, cupcakes and more. In 2009 we built on to the house so that I have a separate commercial, state inspected, NUT FREE kitchen for the bakery. In my free time I create kitchen crafts: including cross-stitch, embroidery, crochet and knit items like wall pictures, tea-towels, pot holders, dish cloths, hand towelsscrubbers, afghans, book marks, and table lace. I sell all of these items and baked goods at famer's markets and events where I vend. We are a NUT FREE facility. NO peanuts, tree nut, almond flavoring, or almond bark are used. Browse through our Products for Sale Ingredients All the ingredients are purchased in Iowa in BULK quantities. Flours are white and wheat. Sugars are granular, brown and powdered. Frosting is a butter cream recipe. Cotton towels, cotton and acrylic yarns, nylon and plastic netting. Practices (our standards for raising or making our products) We follow all washing and sanitizing(non-bleach) procedures as required by the State of Iowa Food Code. We pride ourselves in making the products the day/night before you receive them, so you may enjoy the freshness and quality food without the preservatives. Additional Information Everyone is different. We specialize in custom orders so that the items coordinate with your special colors, themes and tastes. Highlights this Month We can do any item year round, but we do focus on the holidays or season occuring in the current month. |
